Tuesday, March 31: “Before” pics

“Before” pictures always make the “After” pictures more fun! Here’s how the exhibit of blank canvases and panels looks before the artists have worked their magic.  And the clean and tidy work area, in need some good creative chaos!  (The bus painting is a stand-in prop from a back-to-school display last Fall.)

Monday, March 30: almost ready!

All the canvases and panels are hung on the walls and tagged with the name of each artist, the medium the artist will use, and the date the artist will be working in the shop.  It will be fun to see the thirty blank surfaces transformed one by one into thirty very different works of art.
Tomorrow we’ll finish setting up the artists’ work area, and Wednesday we’ll welcome oil painter Rosalynn Rothstein to create the first piece in the exhibit!
